WISCONSIN – WISCONsins Badgers are hoping to land a top target in the recruiting class of 2020.
The Badgers recently hosted two recruits, both ranked inside the top five, at a practice.
One of the recruits, former Texas quarterback Deondre Francois, will visit campus this week.
He is a two-star prospect and one of the top quarterbacks in the country.
The other, a four-star defensive end, is expected to visit campus in the coming days.
The two players were both on the Texas Tech campus during the 2015 recruiting class.
They are both listed on the Tech 247 recruiting class rankings.
A few of the names on those rankings were also on the list of the Top 10 defensive ends in the nation by 247Sports.
The other two are from the Big 12 Conference, which has been recruiting Wisconsin for the last few years.
In addition to the two recruits who visited campus in Wisconsins homecoming weekend, the Badgers will also be watching the rest of the recruiting calendar, which includes a couple of other schools.
At the same time, the Big Ten has invited six players to its campus in Lincoln this week, including two top targets.
The conference is also expected to invite three more recruits to visit this week in Lincoln, including four more players who were ranked in the top 10 by 247 Sports.
